2012 Scholarship Application
Dear Applicant:
The attached application is for the Randolph County Farm Bureau Foundation Scholarship. The scholarship amount ranges from $250-$1,000 depending upon availability of funds. If you have received this scholarship in the past, your application should have already been emailed to you; if not please email information@rcfb.org.
To be eligible for consideration, an applicant must:
Graduation from high school this spring and/or be a freshman, sophomore or junior in a post-secondary (two or four year) school.
Be a member or a child of a member of the Randolph County Farm Bureau.
Be enrolled at a post-secondary school to study in an agriculture related field.
Be a resident of Illinois.
The criteria for awarding the scholarship are as follows:
Scholarship
a. Academic performance and honors
b. Rank in class
Demonstrated interest in agriculture and agribusiness
Character and personality
a. Maturity
b. Industriousness and motivation
c. Intellectual interest
d. Moral character
e. Demonstrated leadership
Applications are available on our website – www.rcfb.org Or can be requested by emailing information@rcfb.org . Please email completed application to information@rcfb.org . If submitting paper application, they must be typed (adding an extra sheet if necessary). Applications must be received at the Randolph County Farm Bureau Foundation, 1403 Hillcrest Dr, PO Box 504, Sparta, IL 62286 by January 31, 2012.
